<aside> 📍 This session provides an overview of all the legal acts that a developer needs to be aware of, including but not limited to the Landlord-Tenant Act, the Condominium Act etc. The session also provides an overview of the different contracts needed for a development project, including financing contracts, architects' contract, construction contracts, tenant contracts etc. It explains the different types of construction contracts and how they are suited to different project types (lump sum, GMP, cost plus etc.). The session also explains project insurance and bonding requirements.
